Reach Consensus on Draft TIP
Description: At this key decision project priorities are compared to available funding within program restrictions to select those projects to be included in the TIP. The TIP should reflect all projects that are to be incorporated (e.g. bridge maintenance, interstate maintenance, and statewide projects for the region).
There is information developed in prior key decisions that informs this step. In order to effectively execute this key decision there is essential information created at LRP-5 with regard to funding restrictions and/or agreements and LRP-10 regarding the list of fiscally constrained projects.
Purpose
To identify select projects from the prioritized list based on funding restrictions and agreements, actual available revenue, and project readiness
Outcome
A Draft TIP with cost and schedule that is released for public comment period.
