Approve TIP by Governor and Incorporate into Draft STIP

Description: The Governor or designee should ensure that the TIP meets other state and federal requirements so that the TIP can be incorporated into the STIP and be in agreement with the state document. Both documents should be flexible enough to adjust to amendments.

Purpose

To consider the need to balance the program and meet other state/federal requirements in order to support the TIP for incorporation into the STIP.

Outcome

Agreement by the state that the MTIP (Metropolitan TIP) is acceptable for incorporation into the STIP.
